ONE TO WATCH: BELLAH MAE

Sony Music Nashville recording artist Bellah Mae is this week’s “One To Watch.” Mae was born in the UK and began writing songs at eight years old, learning how to play guitar and training with a vocal coach for many years. She is a professionally trained classical soprano, meaning she was taught how to sing at a naturally high range and given correct formal techniques, similar to operatic musicians.

Following a LinkedIn outreach to Dolly Parton’s manager, Danny Nozell, Mae earned a mentor and professional guide to the music business for several years. When she turned 18 years old, Mae visited Nashville and was given a look inside what life looked like in Music City. The two are still friends to this day.

She amassed over 100 million streams in her catalog prior to signing her record deal in spring 2026. Known for her previous hits, “Boyfriend of the Year,” “Drama King,” and most recently, “Gimme Gimme,” following her Keep It Peachy EP, Mae gives off a sweet and sour flair in every note. Last night, she released a steamy, new collaboration with Warren Zeiders, titled “Overrated,” available now on all streaming platforms following some flirty teases on social media.

The emerging, 24-year-old singer-songwriter continues to surge in popularity in pop and country music. Through her vulnerability and playful lyrics, she is rising to new heights and gaining more fans by the second. We can’t wait to see what’s next.
