The moment was even more emotional as Smith made his Ryman debut, and reflected on initially not “making it” in Nashville, and the journey it took to get to where he is in his career.

He entered through the crowd saying, “This is a bucket list item, I want to enjoy the concert with you guys.”

Smith is known for his electric performances and soul-stirring lyrics that have captivated audiences for years. The 2-night residency at the Ryman was no exception, as he shared some unreleased new music with fans, and a reminder that everyone belongs.

The Sony Music Nashville chart-topper has been candid about his journey being a frontline artist and the demand its had on his mental health, with fans and friends rallying around him online and in person.

He concluded his tour last night, following an impressive three month North American run. Smith will release his next single, “Find Me in a Bar” on July 17 and can be seen on select festival lineups this summer, including Hoofbeat Country Festival, The Greeley Stampede, Hodag Country Festival and many others.
