Ella Langley Scores Her First Billboard No. 1 with “Choosin’ Texas”

Ella Langley has officially landed her first Billboard Hot Country Songs No. 1, as her breakout hit “Choosin’ Texas”jumps from No. 4 to the top of the chart. It’s a huge milestone for the rising Alabama artist and a moment that firmly cements her as one of country’s most exciting new voices heading into 2026.

Ella Langley Climbs Fast with Her Biggest Hit Yet

Released back in October, “Choosin’ Texas” had buzz from the second it dropped – thanks to its big, hooky chorus, a polished-but-country sound, and the added spark of being co-written with Miranda Lambert. The song debuted strong, but the steady climb into the Top 10 and now all the way to No. 1 shows this wasn’t just hype – people are listening, streaming, and replaying it in a big way.

Ella Langley Continues a Strong Run of Momentum

This No. 1 comes after a run of songs that have been pushing Ella forward over the past two years. Tracks like “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green and “Weren’t for the Wind” helped build her profile on country radio, but “Choosin’ Texas” is the track that’s blown the doors open. It’s the kind of song that shifts a career from “one to watch” to “one who’s arrived.”

Why “Choosin’ Texas” Hit So Hard

Part of the song’s appeal is how it balances swagger with heart – the kind of track that stays catchy without losing its story. The Miranda Lambert co-write turned heads early, but it’s Ella’s delivery that really lifts it. There’s grit in her vocal, a believable edge, and a sound that fits right into today’s country landscape without feeling manufactured.

What’s Next for Ella Langley?

With her first Hot Country Songs No. 1 now under her belt, eyes are on what Ella does next – whether that’s an album announcement, another single push, or a big 2026 tour play. Whatever direction she goes, this milestone proves she’s not just breaking through – she’s building something lasting.
