DOLLY PARTON ANNOUNCES “DOLLY: A TRUE ORIGINAL MUSICAL” COMING TO BROADWAY

Dolly Parton, alongside producers Danny Nozell, Adam Speers for ATG Productions, and Gavin Kalin Productions have announced a brand-new musical, DOLLY: A True Original Musical, will arrive on Broadway this winter.

The musical is centered around the superstar’s journey through life, featuring her timeless hits including “I Will Always Love You,” “Jolene,” and “9 to 5,” and new tunes. Public preview performances will begin December 7, and the show’s opening night is January 19, 2027 — Parton’s 81st birthday at the St. James Theatre in New York City.

“My whole life has been a musical. A grand ole opera really! We have a wonderful director, sets, costumes, choreography, music and all the things you need to make a wonderful, entertaining show! Can’t wait to see you there!” said Parton.

Tickets on sale to the general public begin Friday, July 10, at 10AM ET. Pre-sales for Dolly fans and eligible Capital One cardholders begins tomorrow, July 8, at 10AM ET.
