Dierks Bentley Unveils New Album Broken Branches

After nearly two decades of chart-topping success and fan-favorite anthems, country music mainstay Dierks Bentley is back in the spotlight with the official announcement of his 11th studio album, Broken Branches. Slated for release on June 13, 2025, the album promises to be one of his most introspective and musically adventurous projects to date.

Dierks Bentley’s Tribute to Country’s Beautiful Imperfections

Produced by Bentley’s longtime collaborators John Randall and Ross Copperman, Broken Branches is more than just a new collection of songs—it’s a heartfelt tribute to the rich tapestry that defines country music. With 11 tracks, the album aims to explore the imperfect, weathered, and deeply human stories that lie at the genre’s roots.

Described by Bentley as “a collection of songs that reflect where country music is heading, without forgetting where it’s been,” Broken Branches includes personal ballads to rowdy, boots-on-the-dancefloor anthems, an album that embraces both traditional sounds and modern influences.

Star-Studded Collaborations & New Voices

In true Dierks fashion, Broken Branches brings together an impressive mix of collaborators. Fans can expect powerful duets and harmonies with Riley Green, Stephen Wilson Jr., Miranda Lambert, and country icon John Anderson. These artists not only lend their signature sounds to the project but help underscore Bentley’s appreciation for the genre’s diversity.

What makes this project even more exciting is Bentley’s spotlight on emerging songwriters. Several tracks will mark the major label debut for a new generation of country storytellers, continuing Dierks’ legacy of championing fresh voices and taking creative risks.

A New Chapter in Dierks Bentley’s Iconic Career

Since his self-titled debut in 2003, Dierks Bentley has become a household name in country music with hits like Drunk on a Plane, Somewhere on a Beach, and Burning Man. Known for pushing boundaries while staying true to his roots, Bentley has never been afraid to evolve. With Broken Branches, he’s taking that evolution to a new level.

The title itself serves as a metaphor for the genre and the artists who have helped shape it—those who may not fit the mold, but who still contribute in meaningful, lasting ways. “There’s beauty in the broken,” Bentley said in a recent interview. “And that’s what this record is about—honoring the voices, stories, and traditions that might not be perfect, but are absolutely real.”
