KENNY WHITMIRE MAKES OPRY DEBUT

MCA recording artist, Kenny Whitmire made his Grand Ole Opry debut last night (August 18), fulfilling a lifelong dream to step in to the prominent circle. Following a special invitation from his hero and country music legend himself, Vince Gill, Whitmire is living every artists’ dream.

Whitmire is quickly becoming a trending musician in Nashville, having played with pop star Charlie Puth at Ascend Amphitheater this summer, and at the Ryman Auditorium during Country Radio Seminar. With his authentic lyrics and traditional country music sound, he’s gaining a following that even he didn’t expect.

His powerful hits, “I Gave Her The Moon,” “One Foot in the Grave,” “Fool in a King Sized Bed,” and recent duet, “Movin On’s Movin’ In” with his hero, Vince Gill, are resonating with hundreds of thousands of listeners worldwide. He is currently on tour performing solo headlining shows, opening for Billy Currington and Kip Moore, and at select music festivals across the country.
