DOLLY PARTON TV SPECIAL AIRS OCTOBER 21

This morning, the Country Music Association announced a brand-new, two-hour television special will air next month in honor of the late Dolly Parton.

Dubbed, CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton, the live event will be a tribute to Dolly’s life and career in the entertainment industry. Featuring musical performances, archival footage, and stories highlighting her lifelong impact on others, the project will air on October 21 from 8-10pm CST on ABC and Disney+, next day on Hulu.

Executive Producer Robert Deaton will bring the special to life, in partnership with the Country Music Association. For fans in Tennessee, limited tickets are available for request to attend the live taping at Belmont University’s Fisher Center, where Dolly’s musical premiered in 2025.

“Dolly gave country music its heart, and giving some of that heart back to her is an incredible honor.” says Deaton.
